I bring you the food of my people - Lefse.
No eggs. It is a semi-sweet Nordic flat bread that you eat with butter, jam, Nutella, etc. A plate of these with sausage is a yum. http://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-norwegian-potato-lefse-recipes-from-the-kitchn-175433 |
| Rice pudding also is a good special breakfast treat. |
| Homemade muesli |
| And fried apples. And sausage. |
yum! |
| We make oyster stew (traditional in our family), monkey bread, and ham rolls. |
oyster stew for BREAKFAST?! I'm coming to your house!
OP, pioneer woman's yogurt cream with berries and granola. Easy, make ahead, tastes really decadent, but isn't soooo decadent that later meals are spoiled. |
NP with a bit of Norwegian in me says thanks for this! Have you ever tried them vegan with coconut milk or something other than cream? |
| cinnamon rolls! |
