I have never met more uptight, lame parents than those of kids at this school. If you are 50 and have a 4 year old, go for it. |
I really dont get the fascination with Country Day Mclean. When we toured it, it seemed more like a day care than a preschool. It also felt pretty dirty and a lot of the toys/tables were from ikea. For the prices they charge, I would expect much more. |
| Apple Montessori. a total gem. and hidden away enough that there are no dcum-type parents. The director strongly encourages families to go public, but has been very supportive of children going to private and has met with heads of various primary-level privates. our class went half-private, half-public right down the middle. |
| Lowell. Hands down. |
| Some of the privates have preschools. Why don't you just start there? |
Yes. This is often overlooked. |
| WIS! |
And- bonus- it's easier to get accepted for preschool than PK or K! NPS and St. Pat's are both great schools that have preschools. |
You mean "Apple" Montessori or Aidan Montessori in Woodley Park? |
|
NCRC....
and then everyone else. But then again, if you have to ask you wouldn't know that. |
Apple Montessori in Bethesda. |
| NCRC offers an amazing education for gifted young minds and is basically a feeder for the top DC privates. |
| NCRC - no question |
| NCRC if you don't mind they decide when you can leave. |
Overrated. |
