I found some really sturdy ones at Kmart for $15.

I should add that there are cheaper ones on the RH baby and kid site. We have the 41" and it's pretty big. Can't imagine that anyone needs the 51" on the regular site.

Would the RH 41" one be big enough for snuggling for nightly story time? Just mom and one kid, currently a preschooler but I'd like something that will fit for a long time.

Hmm. It's definitely big enough for me and my 4-year-old now, but if it were me, I'd probably pay the extra $50 or so and get the biggest size available to ensure it stays big enough. I didn't know the regular RH site had 50" ones, so I might have gone that route. That said, the 41" feels like a pretty big bean bag chair to me. I know I'm not helping.

I'd get a Yogibo.
