love my $80 from BR.. petites and it was 10 bucks to have them hemmed. |
Nordstrom Rack - DKNY for $30 Old Navy - you can find some good jeans for around $30 Gap - big selection Off price stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Filenes |
Jag petite jeans and cords are great for around $80. Available at Nordstrom petites. |
where is a good place in dc to get yoga pants? |
Target, Lucy, Nordstroms |
I personally have not jumped on the 200-dollar-blue jean bandwagon. Blue jeans are supposed to look casual and comfy. I'm not saying you should wear mom jeans or any old thing -- but these very fancy jeans that cost an arm and a leg and need to be HEMMED look silly to me. Hemmed jeans?
The most I'll pay is 80 or so for a pair of Lucky Brand Jeans. I like the Gap and Levis too. |
What's the problem with hemmed jeans? What am I supposed to do if the jeans are too long? Cut them and leave them? Call me crazy, but that would look terrible. |
I agree about the hemming. I think most women have trouble finding pants that are exactly the right length. Hemming is an easy solution. |
Ditto. I'm short (5'3") and always have to get my jeans hemmed if I don't buy petite (sometimes petite are actually too short if I want to wear a heel). So even if I buy a cheap pair of jeans at the Gap I have to have them hemmed. |
Lulu Lemon (Bethesda & Tysons) for yoga & work out clothes that are also cute for running errands etc.

There's also a Lulu Lemon in Annapolis. |
