Best toddler movie

We like a lot of the ones mentioned (winnie the pooh, tigger, cars) but one I haven't seen yet is Kipper. It's a british tv show (cartoon) that you can get dvds of. It's adorable and kind of quiet which I loved.

We started Daniel tiger at 2 and have slowly added in other options-- dinosaur train, Thomas and friends, super why. At 2.5, DS is really and truly obsessed with Thomas and I firmly regret the day he learned about the show.

We're not big TV watchers and our 9 month old hasn't seen TV, except in restaurants. I'm not in any hurry, but I'm just trying to figure out when to check out something like Daniel Tiger....1.5, 2, 3?

Fwiw, the recommendation is no screen time under 2 and then fewer than 2 hours after that.

+1 Curious George movie (full length)

Madagascar is loud and obnoxious with lots of yelling. Really irritating for me. Just a friendly warning OP.

Love Kipper . Another quiet one is Wibbly Pig (I like the us/Canadian version). Also Pajanimals.

Cars, the first one. That was the first move my son ever watched.

My DS is two. We haven't tried any movies since he doesn't have the attention span, but I second (third? fourth?) Daniel Tiger (2-part segments, total of 24 minutes). We also sing the songs all the time and they are MAGIC. Seriously, every parent of a toddler needs to have an arsenal of Daniel Tiger songs for various situations.

He also love SuperWhy (about 30 minutes long) and is just getting into Thomas, though we haven't watched much yet.

I started Daniel Tiger/Sesame Street over the summer. I'm a teacher and was home with the kid all day and we were moving. She was 1.5. We don't watch more than 30 min a day.
