There's a Hmart in Wheaton off Georgia Ave, a couple of blocks north of the Wheaton Library. That's 15-20 min drive from Bethesda.

I didn't see or try kimchi, but when I got home, kimchi was the first thing listed on the card he'd tucked in with my order. I think he was an Asian American guy; though a lot of his stuff was midwestern pickle recipes.
