Do you use a rug under kitchen table?

Indoor outdoor rug. They are flat weave so chairs guide easily, you can dust buster them and you can take them out and hose them off when necessary.

Yes, but only because my kitchen table is super heavy and I didn't want the table to damage my hardwood floors. I run the roomba frequently to keep things clean.

No, that's gross.

We have a rug under our dining room table, but we rarely eat in there. No rug under the kitchen table. I don't even have little kids anymore. It's just easier for me to keep the kitchen floor clean without a nasty under the table.

We have a Costco one and you'd never know it was indoor-outdoor. It cleans up very easily. We are also ready to trash it any time it gets gross but frankly, it's in pretty good shape.

We don't have one, we have sliders on the chairs so the floor looks pretty good. But I keep thinking it would pull the dining area together--we have an open floor plan so there's nothing separating the dining area from the living area. These ideas are helpful.
