Does bullying end in college?

I don't think any serious person would suggest that there is as much bullying in college as in high school, but bullying doesn't end completely upon HS graduation.

PP - who are you responding to? No one denies bullying can extend into later life, but it's nothing like high school and middle school.

I was bullied in college, back in '94, for not drinking. The girls on my floor acted like animals finally let out of cages, getting wasted to the point of puking nightly. I was also the only one there of a certain religion.

The RA ostracized me too.
I left after one semester. It was a miracle I "just" failed out of school and didn't walk in front of an oncoming 18-wheeler with how miserable I was.

I'll just say it's a SUNY school, and please note I said it happened in 1994, which was twenty years ago. So it's useless for me to say "Oh, don't go to _____; they're all drunks," since two decades later it's entirely possible things have changed.

About the only instance of bullying I saw in college was when a frat bro tried it on me. He soon found out to his horror that the scrawny goth he was trying to pick on was a decorated amateur wrestler

Freshman year I witnessed some bullying among mis-matched roommates. A lot of it was sorted out by the end of the first semester and I don't recall a single incident after first year. People hung around with people they wanted to spend time with and ignored others.

I'm in my 30's I'm not in college. I was never bullied until I got out of college when I met a guy. He very carefully began the process of making my life horrible. But he did it in a way I didn't know it was happening. Now years later I am completely controlled by a man who blackmails me into sex. People tell me to just leave but I can't he knows where I live and he could ruin me. How could he ruin me I'm not sure which way he would choose but he always lets it be known. I'm very much bullied and blackmailed by this man. I don't see it ever ending.
