You really have to buy large samples and see how they play out on your wall in the lighting. I had my colors all picked and bought large poster size samples from BM, but when we were in the room, the lighting didn't work. It turned my blue-green to gray, my green turned beige, etc. So I ended up buying samples and the painters were kind enough to paint large areas of different colors so I could see how they looked. |
I love BM Chantilly Lace in semigloss for trim
BM Clay Beige BM Lily of the Valley BM and SW *both* have a color called Navajo White (confusing) ... both are nice, though. BM Ballet White if you like a less creamy, more greyed-out white. Behr Painter's White isn't bad, either. My decorator friend is big on BM Stonington Grey, though I prefer Wickham Grey. Behr Eurolinen if you like peachy-pink cream colors |
Benjamin Moore Palace White. When we sold our last house, our realtor had a stager come in for a consult and she recommended this paint color to repaint a study that had been turned into a bedroom. I couldn't believe how many compliments it got -- I'm much more of a colors person rather than a neutral person but people asked our realtor for the paint color. |
We go with the classic BM Linen white. With 01 White trim it looks good in all light. |
I use BM Linen White for trim (semi-gloss) and ceiling (flat), for a softer look. |
