Over 40- What moisturizer do you use?

i break out from almost any moisturizer. Anyone else have that issue and have you found anything. I'm ok on my cheeks but my chin, forehead and nose break out.

I'm the original coconut oil poster - I guess my skin isn't too acne-prone... I've been on the pill or pregnant since I started using coconut oil, so it's hard to say. But as a teen and into my twenties I broke out frequently. My skin is very sensitive, and gets very dry in the winter. Oil cleansing plus coconut oil as a moisturizer keeps it nice and supple when the weather is cold.

Ponds' Night Cream, the blue cap. Twice a day.

Not the PP but his is what I use and I think it's moisturizing enough.

Cetaphil Lotion, as recommended by my dermatologist.

This is really good. Greasy, but good.

For those of you who use the coconut oil, what do you do about sunscreen? Thx.

I have acne prone skin (especially after being off the pill) and like this be Elizabeth Arden. Honestly I think some sunscreen formulations make me break out, but this doesn't.

It is rather expensive although it lasts awhile. I actually couldn't find it it at Ulta last week and ended up buying one by Alba Botanica instead (the sea moss one). We'll see how that goes!

I wouldn't mind a similar rec for a night time anti-aging moisturizer, but again suitable for acne prone skin. Any thoughts? Maybe I should try the coconut oil.

I'm 44 and just started using a moisturizer with Salicylic acid by clean and clear. My skin is pretty oily though.

I used to acne prone skin. I was told to stop using products to get rid of acne. I started using Olay Regenerist Serum (which is like a gel) and the night cream during the winter. My skin is great now!

Honestly, I'm not so good about this. The oil itself is naturally SPF4, so that's a little something. If I'm really going to be out in the sun, during the summer, I use Kiss My Face mineral sunscreen spray lotion. It's whitish, though, so not good if you're wearing makeup. I just try to wear big hats when I can.
