Yes--but three months might break the bank. |
|
Three months:
One month in Italy One month in UK One month in Germany Travel from those places. |
| Australia! You will have enough time to really see the continent - and the weather will be lovely (spring to summer). Lots of cool and different animals to interest your child - lovely, warm people - cities, beaches, etc. Heaven! |

| Yup, NZ has my vote too. |
| Thanks everyone! Australia and NZ may be the front runners! |

I would do Australia. It's far to travel but you have AU and NZ. The only issue is. The prices are just like here so you are not saving much. And there's not need to adapt to their culture or language. They speak English with an Aussie accent.
And if during the winter months (July/Aug), it doesn't get very cold below 30s, like we don the DC area. |

i would do 2 or 3 places depending on your budget/kids?/mobility
for 2 places, i'd do 6 weeks based somewhere in either the french or italian countrysides and then 6 weeks either in south africa or japan/philippines for 3 places, i'd do a month each in france, south africa, and somewhere in asia this is eat pray love come true!! so jealous, enjoy, op! |
Enjoy the gigantic, deadly spiders!

| Australia and maybe some time in New Zealand. You would still have the opportunity to live in a few different places, with differing climates and enough time to take it all in. |
