| Take a look at McNair ES, we have heard great things about it and the pyramid it feeds into. |
| You could also look at south Herndon, oak hill area. |
| Oh my gosh why would you look at Reston Schools. Aldrin and Armstrong are okay but look at the middle and high and forget about it. Look at Oak Hill (20171 part of Herndon). |
| South Lakes HS has higher SATs now than Lake Braddock, Robinson or West Springfield. |

Is someone bored bringing up a 4 year old thread to spew insults?

Anyone who doesn’t understand why the economic diversity in Reston enriches our community should go move to Ashburn. OP, the schools are good. We have theee Title I ESes because of the economic diversity but all three are very good schools with engaged parents and teachers. We know families at all the ESes in Reston and everyone is very happy. We are at Terraset, which is a wonderful well kept secret, and we are so, so happy with the leadership and the faculty and the community. Hughes.... well it’s middle school. I’ve heard good things from parents but it’s still middle school and therefore sucky. |
Really? HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAA. |
LOL someone is determined to ignore demographics. |
| MS13 isn’t just in sterling anymore. Herndon has a growing problem. They don’t actually go to class much but they are well represented in the school. It’s not all the kids by far, but you’ll need to talk to your kids about staying far away from the gangs in the schools. |
Why don't you explain it to me. The only "enrichment" I see appears in the weekly police blotter (theft, robbery, etc.) and also in my tax bill when I have to pay for the limited English / free meals kids. Whatever "benefits" I get are subtle to the point of invisibility... |
