OP back again - I think I have found the perfect combo in case anyone is interested. I'm using Blinc mascara (thanks DCUM commenters!), Laura Mercier Tightline caker eye liner, and I added an eye shadow - Makeup Forever aqua cream eye shadow. So far, no smudging! I am so excited - I can wear eye makeup again  Just wanted to pass along my info in case it helps anyone else.
