| When I have family over, I ordered half a pizza per person. 8 people, 4 pizzas. Though the course of the afternoon it gets eaten. |
What kind of whales do you associate with?! Even when I was pregnant I never ate four slices of pizza! The most I've ever seen my husband eat was 2.5 and he regretted that last half immediately after finishing it. |
|
I can easily eat 3, then a few hours later another two.
Even the kids do. An NO we are not fat. I guess we are lucky we have great metabolisms. |
But who can feel good ingesting all that oil and fat? It's not about gaining weight but about looking at what you ate and being disgusted. |
| Make your best estimate, then increase it by 50%. |
|
| You have to account for adults like me who will grab two pieces at a time, fold it, and count it as one piece. |
Kind of depends where it comes from. 4 slices of an 18 inch NY style pizza is a lot bigger than 4 slices from Dominos or Pizza Hut. |
I do. 11:30 is when I eat lunch at work. So that's a normal lunch time for me. And after a party we tend to run errands or do another activity, so if we're leaving for the rest of our day around noon, I'd rather have eaten more than fruit and coffee. |
That's probably why my husband didn't even get a single slice at the last party we were at. Some of the guests scarfed down more than one piece at a time. OP, Even if it's an early lunch, you should at least order enough so each person gets 2 slices. |
| Order three per person or more if you want to be sure you have enough. |
| Order three pizzas. I hate it when I get to a kids party and they didn't order enough for the adults. I am starving at 11:30. It's really not that pricey to get a couple extra pizzas, parents of the world. If money is tight, skip the favors and buy more pizza. |
| Given there are also wings and cake, one additional large pizza should be fine. I would recommend cutting it into squares rather than slices. This lets people have more than one piece and a choice between crust or no crust. |
Yes, but this isn't having family over. This is a kid's birthday party at some sort of venue. People don't eat as much as they would in the privacy of their own homes. |
