TACA autism group has cultish feel to me

As a scientist, those anti-vaccine people floor me with their inability to think critically and prioritize information sources.

I think they are the best high-visibility reason for more science and critical thinking education in schools.

When people made public fear usually either they have their agenda or they are enterprising (sale products). The sample data from the paper was too small (12 children), and it was plotted. Andrew Wakefield was charged and revoked for fraud in 2009. 5 out of 12 were already suing manufacturer. The attorney financed the Wakefield. He failed to disclose that information.

I have ASD girl. I wish I had perfect child and someone or something else caused her condition. Even though she was perfect (AKA no delays) before 2, some symptoms developed later, most likely she was born as ASD child. Time and money are limited resources. Parents need to be rational to use our time and money.

my ASD child has many medical issues including GI pain, seizures, ataxia. TACA has provided mcuch information to help us overcome these phyical issues and now my kid is so much better. She no longer bangs her heads or has GI discomfort. She sleeps all night, has less GI pain and is doing much better in school
