Health and Medicine

Perhaps because there are a lot of international families here, OP. We're in Bethesda, come from Europe and know a lot of highly educated, well-off foreign families. None of us would have dreamed of "mutilating" our sons, since this is not a culturally accepted practice where we come from. We know American families who don't do this either. I am also a scientist and can tell you that the jury is still out on whether circumcision really does confer lasting medical benefits. And as for your "esthetics"... Can I give you an eye-roll? That remark really makes you come across as ridiculously provincial and narrow-minded, OP. |
Same here. I have sons so we have had a lot of play dates with other boys over the years, and of the ones I saw when they were young enough to see, none were circed. Neither are my boys. |
"Yeah you know me!" |
Like anyone cares what you think of the looks of their son's penis, OP. Seriously, get over yourself. You are weird. |
+1 OP, you sound really judgemental. And if you are around someone who is judging you, just give a cheery, "Oh well! To each his own!" And move on. I'm hoping your post was just wordy and you don't really feel as bitchy as your post sounds. |

WTH? It's not anti-medicine. Do 5 minutes worth of research. |
PP here. Meant to add +1 -- i was agreeing with the last statement of the quoted post. |
Nothing wrong with ant medicine. Especially for ants. Some of my best friends are entomologists who prescribe ant medicine when necessary and I assure you, there is nothing hippy-dippy about them. Keep your stereotypes to yourself. |

Because it is sick and perverse and inhumane and abusive to cut off part of any non-consenting human being's genitals, especially those of an infant child.
Can't say it any clearer than that. |
LMAO |
| My culture doesn't do it. Sex feels way better with an uncut man too. |
You beat me to it! LOL!! |
Do any of you mutilate your daughters by piercing their ears? |
