How do you deal with the habbit of not putting thing back of your spouse?

Sorry about my writing skill. Obviously English is not my first language. Not an excuse but to let you know that I don't do it on purpose to mess up my post. I will try to use short sentences. Maybe that will make it clearer. I realize I use the wrong words sometime when their sounds are similar. I double check by reading it again after I am done with typing but rarely find the mistakes myself. I also use the wrong tenses sometimes as well. . I just can't figure it out the rule for some of them. I don't have time to go to class. If anyone knows a good online tool to improve writing skill, I will love to know. Sorry it is off topic.

My spouse said that "if you take it away, you put it back unless you ask for helping to put it back" but if I ask often, it will not be good.
