I have a problem with your martyrdom complex. Where did I ever say that I had a problem with you linking to anything? I just pointed out the irony of your posting four consecutive posts and then accusing the OP of having a mission.

My iPad was giving me trouble with posting multiple links in the DCUM "response" text box; it started wiping out the first link every time I left the DCUM page to go to another website to add a second link. So I had to post multiple times to add new links. Note how the 2nd amazon link above doesn't have a hyperlink, and I'm not sure what happened there, but when I started to add Manji and al Hirsi I kept coming back to an empty DCUM response text box. I believe you can check what type of device I was using, so I suggest you do that. That's why I switched to a laptop for the Hirsi/Manji post, and now I'm still on the laptop. So shoot me.

You're trying to intimidate me, by calling me out, so that I'll run off and stop challenging poor widdle OP. You're also attributing to me a "martyrdom complex" that doesn't exist and which you made up. You're right, neither of these challenge my right to post links. Thank God that one does not need the Sharia to be a Muslim. And thank God the US does not have the Sharia!

To be a Muslim, all that is necessary is belief in the authenticity of the Quran.

I don't really understand why people feel threatened by OP's link or postings, and I say that as someone who was raised Muslim, but is an atheist (so I guess I'm an ex-Muslim?).

Believe what you believe. If your beliefs are so weak that you are easily swayed (or conversely, easy offended) by some random links on the internet, then your convictions probably weren't that solid to begin with.

What are you talking about? I commented that after making four consecutive posts, you accused the OP of having a mission. Can you not see the irony of your statement? Was there not a poster in another thread interested in why some convert to Islam? Is Islam actually for everyone? Is the scholar in the video not a convert to Islam? Is the video actually 57 minutes long instead of 56? It's just not clear to me what inaccuracy you were trying to correct in your four posts.

But, I guess we can take your final statement as confirmation that you do have a mission.

So why do you have no problem with her behavior (logorrhea), but instead you jump all over anybody who tries to respond to her four threads and her gazillion posts?

To repeat my simple question: Why haven't you popped up here to ask her about this, to make up claims that may or may not be true about her motives ("mission"?) or to call her various insulting names?

It still isn't nice, sorry. I'm sure some of them meet this description but many others don't. Whatever you think about their decision to convert, covering in the West is an act that requires some confidence.

OK. OP posted twelve times--multiple times the number of my postsbetween midnight and 3:30. Why didn't you question that? OP has started four threads compared to my zero threads. So why am I forced to defend my iPad but you never question OP's motives?

Why did you accuse that other PP of "singling out Islam" simply for responding to OP's numerous posts? Because I have to say, it looked to me like that other OP was often correct, and that your problem was that she refused to simply let stand statements that OP brought up in the first place. I think you said you hadn't read through the all threads, but maybe you might consider it before you start making pronouncements about everybody's alleged motives.

Please keep in mind, I do not think there is anything wrong with Christianity, nor is my purpose to proselytize. This is not to say Muslims don't proselytize. They do as do Christians. But that's not my intention here. From the Muslim standpoint, good Christians are going to Heaven too.

I simply saw another Muslim woman, Muslima being harassed and saw inaccuracies posted by our rabid Islam haters. So I simply want to dispel myths and also to explain the reason why people are converting.

5. In The Bible, widows and sisters do not inherit Any property or wealth, only men do {Numbers 27:1-11}

The Koran abolished this male greed {Koran 4:22} and God protects all.


6. The Bible Allows Multiple Wives {I Kings 11:3}

In The Koran, God limits the number to 4 only under certain situations (with the wife's permission)and prefers you marry only one wife {Koran 4:3} The Koran gives the woman the right to choose who to marry.


7. "If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives" {Deuteronomy 22:28-30}

One must ask a simple question here, who is really punished, the man who raped the woman or the woman who was raped? According to the Bible, you have to spend the rest of your life with the man who raped you.

The Prophet Muhammad Says {Volume 9, Book 86, Number 101} Narrated by Aisha:"It is essential to have the consent of a virgin (for the marriage)".

Would the Non-Muslim men reading this prefer the Women they know to be Christian or Muslim?

Have you looked at the Muslim proclamation of faith? I'll break it down for you.

Ashadu illaha illallah wa Muhammad rasullulah. I testify that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is his messenger.

The word "Quran" ain't even in it.

You can believe in the authenticity of the Quran, but if you ascribe others to God, you're not a Muslim. If you don't believe Muhammad is his messenger, you're not a Muslim.

I'm glad you acknowledge you can't confirm all the statements in that article. Because the bit about requiring the permission of the first wife to all others is absolute nonsense. Unless you mean permission of other wives to marry each of them. In that case, you are correct that Islam requires the woman's consent for marriage.

But consent of the first wife is not required for all subsequent marriages.

We already agreed that no one maintains conversion statistics, in the U.S. or elsewhere. No one also tracks any demographics of the converts' population. Any numbers of annual conversions are guesses.
