| Make sure you are measuring your waste in the right place. For the longest time I was measuring it too low and when I figured out how to do it right I was like "Oh I really am skinny!". To measure your waste find the top of your hip bone and the bottom of your ribs then place the tape measure midway between these points and wrap it around your waist. My problem is I was measuring closer to where you are supposed to measure your hips so it was wider. |

The correct way to measure is to stand up, spread your feet apart slightly and put the measuring tape slightly above your navel, then measure it.
For everyone who is in denial about an over 34' in. waist, I say none of you have a waist under that. I measured mine and I admit it was 38' in. Eek. Time to lay off the nachos. |
Give me a break. I'm 5'2" 100# and my waist is 27". |
