Mine did - rides until 2am at least. My shift in the student center ended then, and they could take you to your dorm. If they were available, campus police would drive you to your dorm, or an apartment if it was nearby. There was even a drunk shuttle that ran a loop.

Mine did - rides until 2am at least. My shift in the student center ended then, and they could take you to your dorm. If they were available, campus police would drive you to your dorm, or an apartment if it was nearby. There was even a drunk shuttle that ran a loop.

The shuttle doesn't run from big city to college dorm at night.

Hmmm, I bet "big city" public transit does. If she's going out at night, it should be with a buddy. Learning a little patience or when to come home so that you can make your public transit teaches responsibility. An Uber account that you fund sets her up for dependency.

Public transportation in this city is notoriously bad. The college is open about that. Her college spending allowance includes a reasonable amount of money for transportation.
