My guess is that neither pair would fit you well. #1 would be too tight in the waist, while #2 would be too big in the hips. |
| Ugh, I hate low-rise jeans! Gap now has mid-rise, but otherwise I only see low-rise when I shop and it's driving me crazy...I'm 38 and definitely have post-partum muffin-top. |
| Yeah, I'm 39, have had 2 kids, a muffin top, so I only consider the highest of the low-rise jeans. True low-rise that teens wear are too low for my body. Mine are from eddie bauer, are more like halfway between the true low-rise and the old fashioned at the waist jeans. I'm sure it depends a lot on your body type what you can make work for you in terms of low-rise jeans. |
| Oh yeah, and long-enough shirts are a must with low-rise pants. Keeping the muffin-top covered is a must for me. I will wear a long tank top under any shirt that isn't long enough to provide good coverage if I bend over. |
