$300 - 400 per month, but we try very hard to stay closer to the $300 range. Toiletries, cleaning products and paper goods, it's probably more like $350 - $450 per month. |

I'm the PP with cats. I agree that they're not people, but since I buy their food and litter at the grocery store, it contributes to the overall bill. Thanks for the snark, though. |

Is this only food? A lot of the responses surprised me on how low the amounts are. I thought my budget was too low. Grocery (shoppers) - around $400 (covers breakfast 7 days a week, fruits, veggies, snacks, milk and Lunch and dinners for weekend. other days kids eat at GMs) around $300 for (target) household stuff, misc things for kids or us.
