If you are linking someone's actions to ethnicity, nationality, sex, or religion, you are right to get pushback.
If you criticize Israeli politics - and US support- you're viewed as an anti-Semite. This very point has been raised again and again on these boards.
Even if you try to ARGUE - which means you're discussing both sides using credible evidence that's balanced - you can't win b/c emotions overshadow reason.
same is true for the threads on Islamic covering
Every time a valid reason is raised, someone quotes from the Quran. Again, emotions win over reason.
We're not criticizing people; we're examining beliefs which MAY box people in.
And sadly, in many cases, there are blurred lines btw religious beliefs and politics.
Being too PC is dangerous, as it assumes we're to accept some poor behaviors from certain groups.
