Hate shorts. I, too, wear only capris or long pants in summer. |
My skin is sensitive, so sweaters make me itch. All types. I wish I could wear them but they drive me crazy. I also prefer short sleeves for the same reason. |
I hate turtlenecks. If the temperature changes too quickly (going from cold outside to warm inside) I feel like the turtleneck is choking me. |
If I were in your situation, I would splurge on some really nice yoga sweats and tops. Some of them are really pretty. I don't like wearing jeans even around the house, because they feel too tight around my waist. I live in sweats at home, so I bought cheap ones at target. When I lose some more of this baby weight, I'm going to get some nicer sweats for around the house. The only time I don't wear sweats at home is when someone is coming over. That's when I put on my jeans and my "weekend" sweater. I've got my eye on some stuff at lucy: http://www.lucy.com |
There's also the "Pure Jill" collection at J Jill, that is made from knit jersey:

I hate wearing pants or jeans that show my crack when I bend or sit. Seriously - I can't wait til this whole low-rise thing is over with! |
Hate pantyhose - esp. control top
Hate Bras Hate fitted skirts (esp. with hose!) Hate pumps Basically anything corporate and business-style Hate itchy wool turtlenecks - but cotton is okay Hate layers in general Hate underwear except very lightweight thongs hate knee socks hate jeans or any pants with a tight crotch - at the same tight hate when pants are too baggy or saggy ---- pretty much all traditional clothes LOVE: a great pair of black yoga pants soft broken in cordoroys cashmere anything soft cotton cableknit sweaters a big terry bathrobe a long-flowy summer dress a silk tunic or lightweight cotton a sarong flip-flops ......I wish I lived in Hawaii or someplace like that so I could dress like this always |
Don't like turtlenecks, only if its 20 degrees outside.
Don't like layers...I feel stuffed. Don't like my baggy jeans that make me look 10 pounds heavier than I am! Don't like big heavy winter coats...so ready for spring! Don't like skirts because I can never find one I like without frills, pleats or weird seaming. If I can find a long, plain fitted one that doesn't wrinkle when you sit down, then I'll like it. I second 11:05 - I want to go somewhere warm so I can dress beachy all the time. : ) |
I hate skinny heeled-shoes and won't wear them. Only wear high heels if they're a chunkier heel.
I dislike crew-neck shirts and sweaters - prefer v-necks. I won't wear cap sleeves because they cut me off at the widest part of my muscular arms and make me look like a linebacker. Ditto for capri pants - I have muscular calves and they look ridiculous on me. I can't stand oversized or overly decorated purses. I'm talking logos, extraneous buckles, loud colors or patterns... ugh. And the current leggings/skinny jeans fad... ugh. Loves: I love v-neck t-shirts from J Crew. I love my boot-cut Lucky Brand jeans. I love simple Coach leather purses. I love my Adidas and Puma workout pants for weekends. I love a simple, classically cut black dress for special occasions. |
I hate collared, button-down shirts. Love the look on other women and have tried to wear them but the collar just bugs me. Not a turtleneck fan either. |
I hate anything made from unnatural material. It feels gross and I can't deal with it. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I can't stand the confinement of a sweater.
What I really hate is that skirts do not have pockets. Where is a girl supposed to keep her wallet? I don't carry (or even own) a purse. |
I don't find jeans comfortable either. I work from home also and I wear sweats. I will "dress up" when I leave the house to drop the kids off at school and put on cordoroy pants or jeans and then change back into sweat pants at home. The summer is a little easier, I wear capri pants (it took me years to get into it because I am tall and always felt like I was wearing pants that weren't long enough), or linen pants, or cargo pants.
I hate pantyhose and socks. As other have said - hate low-rise jeans. |
I like low rise jeans - just not too low - I feel more comfortable the way they hit me below my belly button - vs. cutting me off at the waist. I am short waisted and feel they elongate my torso. If you wear a belt - they feel more secure.
I like anything with spandex - hate feeling constricted! |
