I weigh a lot more than you, but like to buy casual cotton dresses from Ralph Lauren. They have many that are cute, hold up well, are casual enough for every day wear and machine washable.

Talbots and Land's End have some cute, reasonable priced dresses. Also check TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack.

Athleta has really comfy flattering dresses that are built for every day wear.

I just spent $350 on dresses and a pair of shoes at boden's clearance sale! I always have a hard time with fit, and end up returning lots so we'll see how this goes.

Reading the reviews is really helpful with boden, for fit. But I did exchange 2 pairs of the chelsea slingbacks for a half size smaller and saw no mention in the reviews. Am waiting on some bistro crops in the clearance too...

About 90% of my summer dresses are Boden - from their sales. Love their dresses! I just received the darling T-shirt dress in blue - can't wait to wear it. I have a couple from Garnet Hill and they're ok but the quality isn't the same.

Feel the same way about their boy clothes, they're just different and the quality is amazing. I pass down my DC's clothes, and then after my friend's son wears them, she hands them back and they get passed down again. Boden clothes can be washed a million times and always look fresh and new.

I just bought two Boden dresses, and I have to say that wearing them is like wearing your favorite nightgown. So comfortable!!
