I was the same way early twenties. I needed to really lust after my man! That fades. You grow up and realize hotness doesn't equal happiness and you sort of get over yourself by your late twenties. My 26 I met someone totally out of my "type" and we are married with kids now!

Some hot guys make great husbands. I married one of them. Every morning I look at him get out of the shower and thank my lucky stars.

Your sister is still quite young + this is just a phase she is going through.

Nothing you say to her during this time will change her mind.

Let her go through this phase, learn her lessons on her own, then she will find out what she needs to find out.

You sound like a caring big sis, but remember that being young and dumb go together for a reason.

I have a friend like this and she ended up marrying a model-looking guy who is also a caring husband and generally nice guy. It can be done! As a PP said, just because someone is good looking it does not mean that they are a jerk.

Also, maybe you don't but most women do care about looks amongst other factors, just as men do. I think my DH is very good looking although I realize he won't be signing a modelling contract anytime soon. But this is one of the main things which attracted me to him. What's wrong with that?
