Killing weeds in between bricks

Boiling water works for me.

But make sure you're wearing closed-toe shoes when you pour the boiling water on!

Ha! Thanks, PP. I will.

Boiling water or water with vinegar/salt/soap kills the visible plant but it just grows back. It is kind of a never ending saga!

Round up is safe and will work long term. Take your BS elsewhere.

Ok, then take a bath in it if it's so safe.

Vinegar and boiling water don't help. They might make a few weeds brown but kill them all, no. The ones it does kill you still need to pull.

First you need to get the weeds pulled out. Do it yourself or hire someone. Once that's done, then you need to apply the long lasting round up formula. Do 2 applications a couple weeks apart but not when you suspect heavy rains.

Next year, around march, be proactive and get the long last round up stuff. A good covering of it early in the season will prevent big weeds.

The only true way to stop it without chemicals. Get the weeds out at the root and that can mean removing bricks to do so. Labor and time intensive.

we find that boiling water and straight vinegar work pretty well.

A lot of weeds are resistant to roundup. Boiling water, heat gun or propane weed flames work better. If weeds are big, you have to use a large container of boiling water. Pulling will destory your patio over time.

I will use Round Up if I want because this is America and I am free. Monsanto says it's safe. I don't care if I poison the water table because I use a Brita filter.

LOL! Love this.

Monsanto is so trustworthy.
