I was recently involved in a crash with a Nationwide insured. It was that driver's fault and Nationwide has been great to deal with. Don't know how their premiums are though.
I've had Geico over 30 yrs and never had a problem.
Same here. |
I had USAA for years and they were good. But Expensive. I saved 50% with Geico. Hope I don't end up hating them...
I like Progressive, but I haven't really shopped around.
I like Progressive too. Stuck with Geico because umbrella insurance requires auto and home as well. |
If I didn't have USAA, I would go for Erie. I know several people that have them and were very pleased.
GEICO is ok until you file a claim or two and then they jack your rates way up even if you were a customer for 20 plus years. We switched to AMICA and have been very pleased. When I cancelled GEICO, they said they would lower my rates to below what I was paying pre-claim if I stayed....
We've had very good experience w AMICA for many years.
warren buffet owns geico thru berkshire hathaway and geico spends one billion dollars a year for advertising do you really think you will save 15% and after you are a customer your rates increase every year even with good driving record so get insured by anyone other than these crooks.
Wow, I'm the only Allstate person? I've had them forever, and I've had a few claims. They are super easy. No complaints!
We've also had Geico forever and no issues. Erie charged us an arm and leg, it was insanely high.
We also have Erie and are happy with them. They had an actual person we were able to talk to about our coverage! We actually went with Erie over USAA.
I’m with State Farm and they seem expensive, but the agent was helpful and nice when I had to file a claim last year and they didn’t jack up our rates. This area is really expensive for auto insurance though.
How much is this? We have two newer Toyota’s, two adult drivers, clean record and pay about $1k/ year.
