Your favorite restaurant dessert

perennial favorites:
cheese plate
creme brule (was disappointed not to get more restaurant suggestions on that one)
souffle
flour-less chocolate cake
salted carmel gelato
bread pudding

this wonderful pineapple upside down cake I had once at Chef Geoff's but they don't have it on the menu any longer.

Their lemon meringue is pretty up there, too.

I know most people are over it, but I rarely have dessert, so for me the Chocolate Lava cake is the to-die-for dessert.

I really don't like chocolate desserts in restaurants. I'm turning into my freaking mother with my mid-life affinity for caramel and lemon flavored things.

I usually get creme brûlée or something vanilla or caramel or citrus flavored. Cheesecake works. Key lime pie is wonderful. Those sort of things.

I love caramel things too! Apple pie with caramel--yum!

All the desserts at Black Salt, but especially their hot chocolate in the winter and their Pot de Creme. I once had both after a meal.
