Please tell me I'm not the one one that sometimes can't stand their spouse

I feel this way daily. If there were not three kids under 5 I would be rolling out of this situation. I should have insisted on that prenup he refused to sign.

Imagine walking around daily with someone who speaks less than ten words a day and it is like yes or no or a nonverbal shrug. That has an attitude or is angry or negative or moody 29 days out of a month. Lives and sleeps in the basement mancave and spends the majority of hours that they are not sleeping watching TV. Not much help around the house. And you are left to make all major household and kid decisions solo and make 95% of the money that supports the household and kids because they are lazy and make poor decisions.

OP you are not so special after all...I feel that way about DH almost daily BUT sometimes he is so wonderful, nice and kind. He also gets bonus points for sharing the best thing in life, our children. I can't imagine breaking that bond. I just focus on working on my own weaknesses, impatience and resentments. When I am happy with myself, I am happy with him.

I have heard this many times on here.

I think many spouses have said this to themselves at one time or another.

It's when you find yourself saying this to yourself almost everyday then you realize that those thoughts should be put into actions.
