Do you put poached eggs in/on your salad? I love poached eggs, and I love salad, but this never crossed my mind. It sounds intriguing, maybe particularly good with spinach?

I'm hard pressed to think of anything poached egg doesn't go on. rice, spinach, pasta....
Or soft/hard boiled egg would work, too if you don't like runny yolk on your salad.

OK, I am totally trying this. I'm picturing a warm spinach salad with poached egg, crumbled bacon, roasted red pepper and goat cheese. Does that sound good to anyone else?

The warm spinach salad with poached egg (and other ingredients) sounds wonderful... I'm thinking that may actually be dinner at my house tonight!

Radishes, cucumbers, red onion, olives, baby corn, cauliflower, red, green, yellow bell peppers, and as others have said some nuts...I like sunflower seeds.

For a poached egg/salad recipe, I make greens, eggs, and ham: usually romaine lettuce, tossed with lemon juice/olive oil, croutons if you like, topped with crumbled bacon and a poached egg.
