I am shaking my head at the rude DeMatha post..if your child is serious about bball..it is worth the drive. Her loss.

Don't know about Georgetown but a +1 for a good experience with the Coach Wooten overnight BB camp for a youngster about 12-13.

(If you're not a long-time DC resident, you may not be familiar with Morgan Wootten. Though he officially retired over a decade ago, it would be fair to say he is still hugely influential in the DC-area basketball scene, and the DC-area basketball scene is itself quite significant in the national basketball landscape. In fact, DeMatha is a national presence in high school sports generally, consistently ranked at or near the top of national rankings in several sports. Although it's Catholic, and in Hyattsville, DeMatha still extremely relevant.)

Yes, my DD went to Coach Wooten's camp and loved it. It's co ed and extremely popular.
