What's the verdict on this Forest Hills home?

I think it's a beautiful home. Some of the choices (like kitchen cabinets) are not my style, but if that home were anywhere near my price range I would buy it in a hot minute.

Yes, I'm betting someone will offer over that asking price.

I used to live next door. It is an amazing neighborhood.

It's gorgeous. The naysayers are off their rockers. I live a few miles away but in an old apartment. I would sell my soul for that place.

Gosh, I like it! It is a small yard, and it is clearly staged, but I don't think the kitchen is so very small, and the bathrooms are really neat. Windows look much bigger from the inside than the outside!

Some people have low standards for their soul.

Spin off: What about this one?

I get that's it's outdated and really needs a good staging, but I'm surprises it has not gotten more action. Lots of space and looks in good shape. What do people think is holding this house back?

I guess if it were mine, I'd spring to get new countertops and faucets in the kitchen and bathroom, which probably wouldn't run more than $15k. But other than that, it's not bad.

What am I missing?
