Just curious--a common question on NYC school forums

Let's deconstruct what's going on here. Cow from NYC comes to DC and wants to know what she's up against, so she asks us all our incomes. When we seem reluctant to spill she bullies us by telling us that we'd never make it among the worldly parents in NYC. Why are we kowtowing to this BS?

There have been dozens of threads on this site in the past few weeks about household income, including one right now. So, who is the real cow? I don't think it's the OP.

Has the NYC mom posted her own income? If she has, she hasn't identified the post as hers.

The existence of dozens of threads doesn't make it any less pointless. Or tacky.... I'm off to start a thread on how my kids are cuter than yours.
