Most awesomely ridiculous toddler meltdowns

around 2 my son lost it over his cheese stick breaking in half. He was hysterical as he tried to put the piece back together. Has also thrown numerous fits over me removing cheese stick or granola bar from the wrapper when he wanted to do it himself.

Nice try PP but that makes no sense.

DD had a meltdown when my dad took the crusts off her sandwich....like he has been doing for pretty much the past year. She wanted him to put them back on. Then the next day was upset that he hadn't taken the crusts off.

my 3 yo had a tantrum bc we only had chocolates in blue and pink wrappers and not green wrappers.

4yo DS had a meltdown the afternoon of Easter Sunday, after lunch at home, suuuuper tired (naps at school but won't at home) and high on candy. He was mad because I wouldn't let him have more candy, which is a pretty typical REASON for a meltdown, but he was so deliriously tired he was convinced he was at school and we were refusing to take him home (to eat more candy). I got it on video.

He also used to have a meltdown if I gave him a granola bar and it broke in half -- he tried to insist that he could only eat the whole ones.

My preschooler evidently cried yesterday when her class releases butterflies they had hatched because "I was so really scared of them."

My almost 2 year old cried because we wouldn't put him in the dumpster in the alley by our house.

It's not just the preschool set. My 7 yr lost it because her 4 yr old brother ate her chocolate bunny. They each had the same bunny and he appologized and promptly handed her the bunny from his bag-- the exact bunny that was not opened.

After being reprimanded by me reminding her that "those are the rules", DD screamed:

"I KNOW the rules, I don't LIKE the rules!" One of the most hysterical (and true) statements she has ever made.

She is 13 now.
