Not really a matter of HHI.

Most used books are not worth the aggravation of lugging to a used bookstore (and then they refuse to buy half of them for whatever reason, and you've got to lug them somewhere else).

For commonplace books, it's easier to donate them to the library and take a tax deduction.

I sort of agree, except that lots of libraries won't take books anymore, they already have too many and are selling/throwing away books themselves. Sometimes it's hard to get rid of books.
