Describe your dream master bath

Our master bathroom has a walk in shower and then it has a bath tub on the other side of the bathroom. The tub NEVER gets used. So, just think about if you will actually use it. It is a waste of space for us. We built speakers into the ceiling and honestly, that is what I love the best of the bathroom. Blast the music while taking a shower or blow drying my hair. We also have the toilet inside its own room, inside of the bathroom. Makes for multiple people inside the bathroom at once, easy.

Kids are 3 and 6. I assume the 6 yr old will stop showering with me soon but the 3 yr old will probably do it for a few more yrs. When it's no longer appropriate for him to shower with me, he can shower with his dad. The showers just seem to go so much faster than baths in the evening. And my DD has learned that wet conditioned hair is much easier to comb then crazy dry bed head. No more tears in the morning when brushing her hair.

Simple and functional with high end hardware. I don't need (or want) a huge bathroom with a couch in it.

Just for reminiscing ..... In our current home, we renovated our (very small) bathroom to include a jacuzzi/tub with a separate handheld spray in addition to the rainhead shower spray (bath/tub combo). We had marble inlay for the backtile to hold shampoo, etc., and built in marble inlay for holding soap bars. We worked with a great contractor to design it. We had a sink with a basin (bowl sitting on top of marble) custom made table/counter to hold sink and a Toto toilet installed. The bathroom is VERY small and we wish we had put a little shelving in (currently towels are in baskets under sink and there is not much room for makeup, etc. Having said that, we love the features and get lots of compliments. The walls are very pale mint green with dark peach towels (not describing the color well but it works). There are plantation shutters on the window. Even though we've sold the house and are moving to different space, we'll miss the bathroom! It was the best custom space we could create on a careful budget without expanding the 1940-size bathroom (the project came in under 10K, soup to nuts including new floor, painting, all appliances, tiling, etc.).

NP here. Developers? No I get my ideas from designers. Everything is pretty much out of reach, but these are the ones innovating and really creating the luxury looks that I like.

What did you think of that? We are looking at a house that has this and aren't sure what to think of it. I hear it is more common in California recently...
