Anyone women wearing a rash guard for swimming with nothing underneath?

Rash guards are great skin cancer protection and ensure coverage, unlike sunscreen application which can be uneven or wear off.

I'm small chested and always wear a bikini top underneath OP.

I have seen some cute patterned ones at Lands End and JCrew catalog. Also Athleta has some that cinch up at the side. Check those websites pp.

OP, look for a rash guard with a shelf bra.

The LE sun shirts are awesome and cute. They don't look like swim shirts. I wear them outside, at playground, etc because they look like a normal tee. Cabana Life has some pretty ones but they are in the $70 range.

J crew has great rash guards

They have swimsuit rash guards. Maybe one of those? It would need to be a certain material otherwise you would wind up with a wet t-shirt look. Probably not the look you're going for...

You HAVE to wear a bikini top underneath.

OP here. Thanks for all the feedback and opinions!

I ordered a black one from Lands End. I'll probably try it at least once with no bikini top under to see how it looks/feels. But I see how it could just feel too revealing.

JCrew has some really cute rash guards. Not in my price range, but nice designs.

Why did you ask OP, you 're doing what you want anyway.

OP here. I asked because its helpful to hear the anonymous and uncensored opinions of others.

I'm pretty small-chested, but I'd wear a bikini top with a rash guard. I know that they are not the most fashionable beach or pool accessory, but neither is melanoma.

I've never seen a cute rash guard for women.

If you can't wear a bikini and one piece doesn't work, get a tankini. Tons of cute ones. The rash guard or sun shirt is just a shirt that goes over it all.

I am an A cup, and I always wear a bikini top underneath. I think you would see nipples if not. Especially when you get a chill from the wind.

This is the rash guard I plan to wear when floating the river. Definitely don't think it's "sexy", but it's not that bad....

This question makes me think of a time one of my friends who has big boobs told me (who wears an A) how lucky I was that I didn't always need a bra. What? I wear a bra so I have two nicely rounded mounds on my chest instead of two tiny tents. Yes, you need something underneath.

Some people have rounded boobs naturally. Others, have triangles...
