| All of them. We never stopped going out...maybe avoid Valentine's Day night etc, but our now 4 y.o. behaves better in restaurants than at home (he knows others are watching...) |

Uncle Julio's.
Hard Times. Ledo Pizza. PF Changs. Cheesecake Factory. California Tortilla. American Tap Room. |

OUr regular places-
medidian pint The Heights Matchbox El Tamarindo (they have a saturday morning kids brunch/show apparently) The Greek Spot Alero any small Salvadorean joint also seems to be good for kids and the staff there are always very sweet to our toddler. |
I would cry if I had to go to most of these. |
| FTR, I really don't think you should expect that ANY restaurant "won't mind" if she starts crying. If your baby is making excessive noise, take her outside. That's just common courtesy to your fellow diners. |

We have a 1 yr. old and have found weekend brunches to be our best time out these days. We do occasional dinners as well. We don't really do "kid" places, but we don't pick places that are too quiet and expensive either.
For instance, we took DS at 6 months to Barcelona on 14th Street. He was great as the noise level is already so high that any screeching etc. did not matter - plus he was totally focused on all the commotion. You definitely don't need to go to only Comet type places now that you have a baby! |

Central, Eve, Dino, Palena (RIP), Ray's
We took him everywhere. |
Omg! Palena! I didn't know and just googled. How sad. |
| Dino is closed, too (although will open again in Shaw). |
| Its less about which restaurant,a nd more about the time. Pretty much anywhere at 5pm. You probably never went tor reataurants that early pre-kids, but when you go you will be surprised to find that its mostly families. Even if its not, its acceptable to have kids at that hour. Not 7:30pm. |
OP didn't ask for good places but places you could take kids without disturbing others. |
|
I'll go pretty much anywhere I went pre-kids, but now I go at lunch or very early in the dinner hours, like right when they open at 5:30 or 6:00. Also, we tend to eat pretty quickly, and if I think my daughter only has so much good behavior in her that day, I'll ask for the check when they bring the food so I can make a hasty exit if need be.
My daughter's 5.5 and has been going to restaurants since she was about a week old. about 95% of the time, she's an awesome restaurant patron. I've noticed that sometimes when other kids are dining with us, she gets sillier, but with adults only, she's very good. |
When they are newborns they're pretty portable, so its easier. Its harder once they're mobile and intentionally noisy
We found Cosi's, Noodles and Company, Pete's APizza, and Lebanese Taverna to be very kid friendly. |
We go to Meridian Pint often. It is stroller city in the early evening and at brunch. They have even started handing out balloons, which my almost two year old loves. To me that's a big sign that they are courting the new parent demographic

Ruth's Chris, preferably for New Year's Eve!
