| 25k. I find its plenty. |
| Not sure about AmEx (Plat) - I assume there is a limit at some point? We are never above $20k/month though - usually much less. Try to stay down to $6 -8k/month. |
^ we use it for everything |
| $50K on one and $30K on another. Pay both cards off in full every month. |
Exactly this for me |
| I owe about $58K right now to Bank of America unfortunately .... |
|
$27k.
Only time I've ever come close to using that much is charging our kitchen remodel. But I only did it for the points, we pay the card off in full every month. |

PPs, can some of you post your HHI's too? I have a Discover card that I applied for right after college with a credit limit of $5K. Thinking about asking for an increase so we can run some of the expenses related to our house addition through, but not sure what is reasonable.
Our HHI is mid $200K. |
| $30K on Amex and $25K on Visa. Not something I asked for, they just gradually increased over time. Even when charging business expenses I never come close to that. HHI is $200K. |
You should ask for an increase. They probably still have your old income on file. |
| Lowest is 1k, highest 13k.What a difference! Haven't asked them to be lowered or raised. |

My dad has one with a 50K limit. He has to travel a lot for work (sometimes internationally), but gets it all re-embursed, so he floats travel expenses on there. I think that's a situation that makes sense. |
I used to have a Discover card and when I asked for an increase, they asked me how much I wanted. I told them some number that was more than double my then limit and it was approved right away. |
Bad credit? |
