Anything stacked on top of fridge, washer, dryer. It screams no storage space.
Toilet seats in up position or the toilet seat open Boxes of tissues |

Kids toys all over the kid bedrooms
Obviously stained carpets Pets Food, etc. all over the kitchen counters Your thumb partially covering the camera lens |
| I'm one of the PP's and I'm curious: a couple of people mention not putting your finger over lens, etc. Do people really take their own photos of their homes for sale (even FSBO)? When we listed ours, one of essentials was the agent's ensuring the shoot (and the wide angle lens). Just curious....I'd think even for FSBO you'd hire someone to do this, especially since the photos are the first image.... |
| I second the open toilet. That is a huge turn-off form me; it's gross. |
| PP, I assure you that people post non-professional photos. I almost think people post intentionally horrible photos in the interest of shock value. I've seen photos of kitchens with open boxes of cereal, used bowls, silverware, dish rags, etc all visible. |

Continuation of 19:09...
I've seen unmade beds with clothes strewn about. I remember seeing a room with old, dirty shoes on the floor and other trash thrown around the floor. I don't get it. |
Yes. It is actually.
|
| I have no issue with pets or pet bowls in photos. To me, it feels more 'homey' |
Because you forget the purpose of the toilet until seeing a photo with the seat up reminds you? |
| ghostly figures in the background |
| Toilets with the seat up |
Some people are photographers and actually have wide angle lenses and nice cameras so they can do this for themselves. We certainly could. |
You and the other no snow PP have never lived in the Midwest... |
| Who cares about the toilet seat up unless there is a poop floating |
