I told my husband that I liked his long hair when he had it, because he loved it. Secretly, though, I thought it looked like shit. You better be taking care of that mess. Guys don't condition it or get it styled or style it at home. They usually end up with lots of broken ends pulled back in a pony tail holder like an exhausted new mom. Just terrible. |

It's not a specific turn on for me, but if a guy is already hot, it's not a deal breaker as long as he keeps it clean and groomed.
I mostly date military and former military so I haven't had much experience with long or even medium length hair on a guy. My partner gets his head shaved every Friday as soon as he leaves work. |

| Yuck. Agree with PPs comments about celebrities like Jared Leto, Sebastian Bach/Axl Rose back in the day (but look at Bret Michaels now - ridiculous at his age). But most men with long hair do not take good care of it, and it just looks straggly. It also isn't a very corporate look. |

No. The only men who look good with long hair are hot despite their long hair. Example: Brad Pitt and Daniel Day Lewis come to mind for certain movie roles they had with long hair; however, they look even hotter w/ shorter hair.
Whenever i see a guy with a ponytail, i have the strongest desire to cut it off. |

Not me personally, but two of my friends are married to guys with long hair. One is kind of a punk rock/goth type of person (as is his wife) so I think it fits them. The other is kind of hippieish (as is his wife) so it also fits them. Both of them take very good care of their hair.
And yes, we have a very interesting group of friends haha |

| You'd have to be super handsome in the first place. And even then I'd think your long hair would DETRACT from your hotness. Only a very, very few men can pull it off without it looking gross. So, in short (pun intended), NO. |
