I am pretty certain the wait is longer than 2 years.

NCC- a year or less in boundary. Out of boundary may not ever get off the list.

Seven Locks (Bethesda, not the same as the Palisades pool on Seven Locks in Bethesda) - no WL.

Merrimack (Bethesda) - no WL for August; full summer WL ~3 years.

Avenel (Potomac) - no WL, but $$$.
Anonymous
Somerset Pool (Town of Somerset, Chevy Chase, MD) - no WL, but only open to those in the Town of Somerset.

Can I just express my annoyance re: the Rock Creek Forest Pool? The wait list is so long and it seems that there is no priority to given to people living in the neighborhood.

Somerset Pool - No wait list. You have to live in Somerset. It's an amazing neighborhood and very nice pool. Never crowded too.

Darn....I have been on the list for a year so I guess it was just wishful thinking. I think I was number 186 when I was added to the list.

Isn't that a neighborhood with lots of old people though? Could be wrong, but when we first moved to DC we lived in Friendship Heights that was what struck us. So, great for using the pool, but likely means that amenities may be focused a different way.

A few years back, we got into Glenwood after about 2 years, but by then we were already happily settled at Kenmont...which has since developed a wait list of its own.
