Yes, fine. Just so tired of being disappointed with the Democrats promising things they never deliver. All they do is look for ways to raise taxes and redistribute money to low-income people. At best they fund the filling of a few potholes.

Umm, de-funding Amtrak, particularly the Northeast Coridor, was actually a line item on the Republican platform. Most conservatives would in fact de-fund Amtrak completely, but would maintain or even increae the dramatic subsidies for road and air travel.

You are just so full of crap. For one thing, regarding "redistribution of money" you have that one totally, incontrovertibly backwards. Ever since we started implementing Republican supply side economics and "trickle-down" policies back during the Reagan era, the only redistribution of wealth has been from the American middle class to the wealthiest 1%. Republican policies have been the ruination of the middle class. And meanwhile, the richest have gotten far richer than they ever were. "Redistribution of wealth from the rich to the poor" is one of the biggest, most ridiculous Republican myths going.

Secondly, regarding who's delivered what, for the last 6 years the ONLY thing the Republicans ever delivered is obstruction. 52 FAILED votes to repeal ACA. Millions and millions of taxpayer dollars WASTED on ridiculous witch hunts over "Benghazi" "IRS" "bla blah" and whatever other bullshit thing the GOP manages to confabulate some manufactured phoney outrage over. They managed to shut the government down costing billions - ACCOMPLISHING NOTHING and for NO GOOD REASON WHATSOEVER. They managed to destroy the reputation of Congress even worse, dropping it down into teens and single digits. To be honest, I cannot think of a single good thing that the Republican-run House of Representatives has done that was positive and productive since Obama took office. Not. a. single. thing. In years. The GOP is WORSE than useless because not only are they not accomplishing anything, they have managed to waste huge amounts of taxpayer dollars and resources in the process and thereby managing to deliver LESS than ZERO.

You should be deeply, deeply ashamed of yourselves for still buying into any of this crap. And I should know. I was a card-carrying faithful and registered Republican for two decades, but as I got more informed, I gradually woke up and realized it was all bullshit. Time for you to have that awakening as well.

Yet clueless Republican idiots are still going around saying "there weren't any shovel ready jobs" - yes there were, and in fact, hundreds of thousands of them were completed over the last couple of years. But the problem is, there are still a great many more remaining to be done. In polling, 80% of the American people agree that we need to maintain, invest in and improve our infrastructure yet the Republicans, through their actions and obstruction, steadfastly refuse to listen to the American people.
