| Yep. Cannot imagine having HHI of 100K. DH just got a 15k raise and we're finally feeling not quite so panicky every month after living on 50K for so long. |
|
Heck yes, I do.
Hovering around $88K after lots of time and experience with the organization. Single parent. Feeling lucky. |
Same here, only I just got bumped from $82,000 to $85,000. Enough, but not enough for adequate college and retirement savings, especially as DD is headed to college in 2 years. |
| we don't (make about 140k) but i know what you mean. i feel like we are well off, and then i cam here and everyone makes at least 150 and feels very poor. |
| ^^ at least 250 |
+1 I am the PP who nets about $50k between my boyfriend and myself and I actually just started a new job with a $13k raise. I was making $35k beforehand. It is great to have some breathing room now and extra money after bills are paid to save something! |
| Yup, 91,000 in Rockville. |
You should probably not be on a thread that was created for people making $40k less than you do. Some people here ONLY make $40k. |
| Family of five here. Our gross was $99k in 2013. It was a very stressful year. |
| Single parent teacher who makes just over $50K. I don't count on child support because I usually don't get any. |
|
Family of 4 with 92K HHI. Money is tight. No impulse purchases, strict budget. Our biggest expenditure is our mortgage. After-school activities cost a lot too. Public school in our posh neighborhood is fine. Saving for retirement and college. We are happy. |
$95k, but we live in Baltimore, where it's plenty.
|
pp here, my guess is we'll hit $130K this year if things go well. 2 kids in daycare, 22003. |
we also live in baltimore!!! we just moved here on monday. where are you? |
+1 Go hop on one of the many "I make lots of money but its not enough, wah" threads. |
