
the ugg company that we know of here in the states makes stlyes that reflect what will sell here(hence snow boots) in new zealand and Aus the term "ugg" is a generic term(like "tissue") that just means boot (or slipper, I guess, according to a PP's friend?) |
You don't know what you're talking about. Ugg is NOT a generic term for boot. In Australia, it means exactly what is selling in the US: nasty, tacky, lambskin boots! (Except they were once $30/pair.)
They've been around for decades and only trashy people have ever worn them...until recently, when stupid people jumped on the bandwagon! |
