Graduates - what RE appts did you have after BFP?

Anonymous
Did a total of two beta tests (but I understand that this depends on what your numbers look like), then ultrasounds at 6w and 8w. From there we went straight on to our midwifery practice. Congratulations!

I went for a beta as soon as I got the BFP at home. I never waited until the day I was supposed to go to the office. Then, I'd return every two days until Hgc was 2,000 or greater. After that, I'd have a sono to check for implantation in the uterus. The first pregnancy, we saw a heartbeat at the first sono. That was 5w2d. The second time, no heartbeat at 5w0d. Went back at 7 weeks to see the heartbeat. After heartbeat was confirmed, I graduated to my OB.
Good luck!

Same exact thing for me, except I wasn't high-risk - fresh IVF cycle. Congrats OP!

3 betas to make sure HCG was doubling properly and u/s at just over 6 weeks (saw both heartbeats) and just over 7 weeks. SG offered to do another u/s at just over 8 weeks before releasing me to the OB (I had twins so I think that's why I was offered u/s every week), but I wanted to graduate to the OB after the 7 week u/s.

2 betas. u/s at 5,6,7 weeks. HB at 7 weeks, then released to OB.

I saw my Shady Grove dr about 2 times after BFP. Once beta levels were clearly going up (3 blood tests) there were 2 sonograms (I think) I know that my last RE appointment was at 9 weeks, and then a "graduated" to my OB, who I first saw at 11 weeks.

Best of luck!
