I like moms better- yes smaller produce but locally sourced food rather than mangoes from South America or strawberries from Mexico. I feel like prices are the same.

I like Mom's, and go to the Rockville store. The store is easy to get in and out of, and they even sell the dog food and treats I usually buy. I find Whole Foods overwhelming, and a waste of time for our needs.
