good fish recipes for someone just starting to eat fish

"When you wrap it up in a tortilla with cabbage and avocado and smother with salsa, yogurt/sour cream, and/or chipotle sauce, you're less likely to have taste/texture issues."

++ I am not a 'fish' person but like fish tacos! I use lowfat tortillas, greek yogurt instead of sour cream, salsa, and lettuce/cabbage etc, yum...

OP here. Thank you everyone! I tried this one tonight using sole and olive oil lemon and chives and it was really good. Fish tacos are up next. And love the idea of using in crab cake recipe! Thanks!

I think all that butter probably defeats the "healthy"

No, it doesn't. Butter is fine and if it's pastured, it's high in CLA and quite good for you.

Butter is one of the healthiest foods I eat. And fish, fish is healthy too. The fats to be avoided are trans fats and most vegetable oils.

I am making salmon cakes for dinner tonight. A can of costco canned wild salmon mixed with sour cream, bread crumbs, onions, eggs, and spices. Pan fried in ghee. A hit for the whole family.

I'm also not a huge fish person, and second (third) the fish taco recommendation. Also google a recipe for pescado a la veracruzana (Veracruz style fish), which is basically a white fish in a flavorful tomato sauce that's really good. Also try salmon broiled with mustard-maple sauce. Be aware that some of the farm-raised white fish, like tilapia, has none of the healthful fish oils that cold water fish like salmon and tuna do. It's still nice low-fat protein, but not much better for you than chicken breasts.
