I think it is pretty normal OP. I hated my sister when I was young and now we're friends. We had too many kids in our family (8). I think everyone was just fighting to survive and be noticed.

Just tell them what my parents tlod us growing up - "If you ever need a kidney, only one person in the world is a perfect match. Not a good idea to treat them badly!"

That was tongue in cheek but I tend to follow my parents' philosophy - at both the macro and the micro level. Like PP, we tell them that they should treat each other no worse than they would treat a close friend. We also tell them that your siblings are the only people in the world who share your upbringing so they uniquely understand your issues. When that fails and they do not want to hear it, we send them to their own spaces.

OP it's normal, my sib and I are about 2 yrs apart and fought and bickered and argued like crazy for years and years, lol, til we were just about grownups!! 13/15 is not an easy age. We're the best of friends now and became great friends around the age of..20? Hang in there.
